We're looking for an experienced Trade Mark Administrator to join our growing and high-performing team.
We assist global brand owners to protect their trade marks in New Zealand and Australia, and New Zealand and Australian brand owners to protect their brands locally and internationally. Trade mark clearance, protection and enforcement matters are at the heart of our practice.
What you'll be doing
As a Trade Mark Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our trade mark team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing trade mark applications and renewals in New Zealand, Australia, and internationally.
- Preparing and filing trade mark applications and other IP-related documents.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date trade mark records in our information systems.
- Liaising with clients, IP offices, and overseas associates.
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with all IP-related requirements.
- Assisting with the management of our client’s domain name portfolios.
- Providing administrative and personal assistant support to our teams.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in trade mark administration or a similar legal/administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing deadlines.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with IP management systems (preferred but not essential).
- A team player who is adaptable and ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
