Shamara holds an MSc and an LLB (with Honors) and brings a strong academic foundation and global experience to her legal career. Originally from South Africa, she began her professional journey at Herbert Smith Freehills in the Alternative Legal Services division, where she gained valuable experience working on complex legal matters for international clients.

Now based in New Zealand, she enjoys balancing her professional interests with a love of reading and exploring the country’s beautiful outdoors.
