About Jessie

Jessie advises on a range of trade mark matters, both contentious and non-contentious, as well as related copyright and design issues. She is experienced in filing and prosecuting trade mark applications in New Zealand and Australia, and managing international portfolios. Jessie also advises on clearance searching of brand names, filing strategies, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. 

Jessie is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ) and The International Trademark Association (INTA). 

Prior to helping establish MoranLaw Jessie worked at national law firm Duncan Cotterill and Hudson Gavin Martin in their respective intellectual property teams.

Jessie was born and raised in Dunedin and has a First Class Honours Degree in Law from the University of Otago.
